War of the Roses

So Paradox are going to release a new installment in the Mount and Blade series known as War of the Roses. They have released some game play so far but they are fairly short. From the trailers you can tell that this game is gonna have improved graphics, killing animations and blood, much more blood! Currently you can sign up for the Beta and will possibly get invited to join the Beta of the game when it is released. It will supposedly be released late this year.

Here is some current info on the actual game play from what Wiki tells us:

War of the Roses puts the player in control of a single, customizable soldier fighting for either the House of Lancaster or the House of York. The game plays in a third-person viewpoint and contains both single player and multiplayer modes; multiplayer being the main feature.
Weapons

There are three different weapons you can hold at once;
Primary Weapons

You may hold one primary weapon at any time. Some primary weapons include:

Longswords
Great-axes
Crossbows
Longbows
Lances
Pikes
"Handgonne", an early version of a handgun (only one shot, instant kill)

Secondary Weapons

These include;

War axes
Shortswords

Equipment

These are emergency weapons or extra protection equipment, like;

Daggers
Shields

This game really does look like something I would make (dumb comment seeing as I don't know how to make games, but you get the point)

I love that their is "Friendly Fire" And if you swing like a madman you'll kill your teammates. And that there is weight to the attacks shown from both the attacker and the man being hit.

I'm really excited for this... AND THE DAMN LANCE ATTACKS ARE AMAZZZZZING if i didn't already say that.

I suck at this game... How the hell do I even aim atttacks? Tried using the "crosshairs" in any way I could think of and I either completely miss or do no damage... A guy was AFK and i couldn't kill him, he just blocked every attack... afk... I understand powering up attacks and using momentum, but just not how to hit where I want to.
