Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
Inv stepped slowly through the streets of Escapia, trying to think of who could join him in his crime-fighting lifestyle. He had just turned the corner from CUT HQ when he noticed the crowd.
"Alright, CUT Agent, Invunarble. What's going on here?" He yelled, pulling his badge from his jacket. He stopped, dropping the badge to the ground. "No way..."
In the dark office, a worker sat, tired and bored. He'd been alone in this office for two days and had slept for only three hours. He wanted nothing more than for his shift to be over. As his eyes began to close, his dreams were filled bright colours and laughs of happiness... Laughs which were suddenly interrupted by a loud ringing. Eyes springing open, he jolted forward. The screen on his desk had a flashing alert on it.
"Mother of Notch..."
"THEY'RE ESCAPING!"
The guards rushed out of the dorms, weapons raised.
"Keep moving!" 697 yelled to Proz, keeping his head down. "Don't let them see your face! Once they know who we are, things are gonna get worse!"
"What do you mean?" Proz asked desperately.
"Sir, we've identified one of the prisoners as Mr Proz. He's a maximum risk inmate," the man told the Head Guard on duty.
The Head Guard sighed, before slamming his fist on the desk. "Initiate the Maximum Risk Escape Procedure then."
"The system's down!" the man cried.
"What do you mean it's down?" another responded.
"I don't know! Look at the alert!" The man yelled back, pointing to his screen.
"Oh no..."
A ball of fire hit the ground next to Proz, metres away from him.
"Damn it! They know where we are. It's MREP. They'll have every armed guard in Escapia searching for us. We need to get to Towler and his men quickly!" 697 cried.
"We cant lead these guys there," Proz protested.
"We'll lose them, but they'll find us again soon enough if we don't get to Towler."
"We've just reached word from our Maximum Security Prison," Giveme said, briefing the agents in front of him. "We have two high risk inmates on the run. I want everyone in this room on the lookout. Shoot on sight. Their profiles are being handed out. Some of you may know one of these men quite well. You are not to let that stand in the call of your duty."
Mountbatten watched from his office carefully. He sighed and turned away. "What have you done now, Louis?" he asked himself. "Invun!"
He waited.
"Invunarble! Get in here!"
Still, nothing.
"Where the hell is he? Spy, get in here!"
Spy calmly made his way into the office. "Louis, I thought you were away!"
"I got back moments ago. Where's Invun? I need him to find Ghost for me."
"He should be in his office... He was just on patrol recently, but he should have been back half an hour ago."
"Find out where the hell he is and find Ghost for me. It's important."
"Brief me," Giveme ordered as he stepped into the Head Guard's office.
"We've got a few hundred guards out there looking for them. I'm the only guard in the prison now. If you could spare some Agents, I'd appreciate it. Right now, I'm relying on automatic weapons to keep these guys in."
"I'll assign twenty men to the prison, no more. The two guys you let escape are worth more than every prisoner in here."
"And yet it was the Escapian Leaders that had Proz deemed less of a threat. It was you people that let him mingle with the other inmates."
Giveme glared at the guard and left the room.
"Notch, I'm your biggest fan!" Someone screamed for the fiftieth time. Inv led him through the crowds quickly and safely. When they had been talking for some time, Spy approached Inv.
"Invun, can I get a word with you?"
"Spy, Notch is here!"
Spy turned, shocked. "No way..." he uttered cautiously. "Inv, can we speak in private?"
Inv nodded and left Notch for a moment. "What is it?"
"You sure this guy's real?"
"Look at him. It's Notch. He even used our security authentication."
"Well... alright then. Louis needs you to find Ghost," he began. Notch turned to him, looking disappointed. "...but clearly you're a bit busy right now. I'll find him..."
"Quickly," the man in the dark room cried. "We need to get word out to the rest of Craftmine! The authentication servers are down!"
"Mr Furdabip?"
"That would be me."
"We have some bad news."
"Oh?"
"The authentication servers are down. There may be imposters in your city. We urge you to inform the rest of your city's Leaders and exercise caution."
Furd stared straight ahead. "Wait a minute..."
"Furdabip!" Will cried, rushing down the crowded streets. He cut the Leader off. "You're the first guy with any authority I've reached. There's something you need to know! It's about Notch!"
"I know!" Furd cried, still running.
Will chased after him. "I realised it after seeing the logs for our security authentication. His ID! His name has always been spelt with a lowercase 'n'! Notch is an imposter! How he got through the security, I have no clue!"
"I just received word from the Office of Mojang," Furd responded. "Their security servers have been compromised. Someone's targeting Craftmine as well as us!"
"Agent Invunarble!" Furd cried.
Inv spun.
"A word, please. Now."
Inv stepped quickly over to Furd. "Not in front of Notch..."
"You mean the imposter?" Furd whispered. "This guy's a fake. Trust me. Mojang's security is down!"
"But..."
"We need to arrest this guy right now."
"Wait," Will butted in. "What if we went along with it? We can find out what he's here for? What he's trying to work out."
Inv thought for a moment. "Alright... fine."
They turned to face Notch again... or would have, had he been there.
"He's... gone."

Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
"Are you sure? No... It couldn't be."
"Trust me, LS. It was Welwyn. He wants Seahaven sold, and he's working for someone too," Tanis explained. "We need to confront him."
"Well then we should tell Stalke too. He'd want to know."
"Wait, wait, are you sure?" Tanis asked. "This is Stalke's friend. It would kill him to hear what's going on."
"He'll find out sooner or later, Tanis."
"Let's speak to Welwyn about it first. Then we can decide."
"So there was a fake me walking around Craftmine, and aside from the capitalization of one letter, nobody could tell the difference?"
"Yes, Sir."
Notch sighed. "I'd heard of the attacks recently, but I didn't realise they were so bad."
"Should we prepare to deploy Wave 2 of our emergency army, Sir?"
Notch looked around carefully. He took a deep breath. "No. Not yet. Wave 1 did enough damage. Wave 2 is our last resort."
Welwyn sighed as the knocking began for the third time. He pulled himself out of bed and stumbled over the door, still half asleep. With a tug, the door opened, to reveal the two faces of LS and Tanis.
"You know what time it is, right?" He uttered painfully.
"We know what time it is, Wel. What we don't know, is why you want to sell Seahaven." Tanis yelled, pushing his way into the hous .
Welwyn's eyes opened and he jolted up. "Sell Seahaven? What?"
"Don't pretend you don't know what we're talking about," LS accused, "Tanis saw you discussing it with someone. Tell us who!"
Tanis sighed and thought carefully about what he would say next.
Towler sat patiently in the large stone cavern, watching as his workers prepared weapons.
"They're here, Sir!" someone yelled.
Towler quickly made his way up to the small cave opening in the mountain that led to their base. 697 and Proz were already being searched for any weapons. When the search was done, they were led down a long staircase where Towler was waiting. "Gentlemen, good to see you."
"Towler, its been a while," Proz said, nodding.
Towler led them further through a set of tunnels before they reached a massive cavern with a small town inside.
"Welcome, my friends, to one of the many hideouts... Of the revolution."
Ghost made his way over to the trails. He looked into the distance at the prison both Proz and 697 had escaped from. They had left trails in the dirt in their rush to escape. A bad mistake.
"Ghost, is that you?" someone called out. "We've been looking for you for ages!"
Quickly, Ghost rubbed out the tracks of 697 and Proz and stood up.
"Just... just been searching for tracks."
"Alright, let's start this meeting already," Mountbatten said, stepping into the CUT Hall. He sat down at a long table in the centre of the room with a number of other Agents and Leaders, while about a hundred more agents sat in seats around the hall. "We've got two topics to discuss publicly and a number of others to discuss in private groups. Spy?"
Spybotics stood up from the other end of the table. "Thank you, Louis. Issue number one is the breakout of two high risk inmates. The first is known as Proz. The second inmate is, as you all know by now, a once friend of ours. Out of respect for the man he used to be, this inmate shall be referred to as simply his number - 697. The breakout occurred in the evening yesterday. Givemeabreak was in charge of the first response operation. Giveme?"
Give stood up next to him. "Yes, Spy. We're still looking, and we need every agent keeping an eye out for these two men. Other than that, I'm afraid I have nothing else to report on."
Spy stood back up. "Alright... Moving onto topic number two. The supposed sightings of Notch yesterday. The Agent most involved with this was Invunarble. Care to tell us a bit, Inv?"
Invun stood up cautiously. He coughed nervously, looked around the room, and coughed again. "Yes. Well..."
Mountbatten sighed. "A bit quicker would be nice."
Inv coughed again and stood on his chair. "The founder of our beautiful lands, Notch is one to be admired by all."
"Skip the intro, Inv," Spy sighed.
"Right. Well. Having spent a considerable amount of time with Notch, and having talked over my ideas with my good friend Iron Fang, we have come to the conclusion, that the imposter was in fact, the infamous Comet1."
The hall was silent.
"For ions, historians, religious figures and scientists have debated over life after death," Inv began.
"Inv, cut to the point!"
"Alright, alright. If any of you have picked up my book yet, 'The comet of our world', you'll recognise the theory I'm about to propose. King SneakyPie had an illegitimate child named Comet. Who with? Who knows? But what we do know, is that Comet's truth could never be told, and so, he was banished."
The hall erupted into furious yells.
"Hear me out! Please!"
"GET OFF THE STAGE!"
"There is no stage though!"
"Kick him out!" Someone else cried.
"Fine, I'll be quiet," Inv muttered.
Random stood up. "Luckily, Invun recently hired me as his partner."
"How did he get in here?" Louis asked Spy in a hush.
"I have no clue..." Spy muttered, looking around the room. His eyes met Derek's, who looked away guiltily. "Damn it."
"On behalf of my partner, Invunarble, I'd like to suggest our theory. I'll ignore the illegitimate child part, as I'm sure you'll all be picking the book up in the coming days anyway... Whether or not Comet was banished for the VCLB or a scandal involving Sneaky is irrelevant. Either way, you'd think Comet would want revenge. Thus, I propose he was the imposter, and he is preparing to attack."
The hall erupted into cries out outrage again.
"Enough with your foolish theories!" Louis cried.
Random sat down and whispered to Invun, "I think installing those bulletproof windows on our floor might have been a good idea after all..."
"Look, who the imposter was individually does not matter. It was not Comet. It was not Milo. It was a Griefer with nothing better to do."
"And yet," Blackadder spoke, "he griefed nothing. So why do it? Why break into the entire security system of Craftmine, the security system run by Notch's personnel just to have a day of fame?"
"Well," Louis cut back in, "I have a theory."
The hall was silent.
"Oh sure, we all listen to Mountbatten's theories..." Inv muttered.
"From what I've been told, the security hack was huge. Whoever did this could hack into our separate server security with enough time quite easily. They could steal top secret files about our defence plans. They could steal transcripts of this very meeting."
"So?"
"So isn't it clear? The only reason they sent a fake Notch, was to get caught. Don't you see? This was a warning."
Welwyn
a) Tell the truth
b) Tell a lie
c) Tell LS and Tanis to leave now
"Trust me, LS. It was Welwyn. He wants Seahaven sold, and he's working for someone too," Tanis explained. "We need to confront him."

So... Is comet the love child of sneaky and ??? or is derek the love child of sneaky and comet? OR is derek the love child of sneaky and comet while comet was also the love child of sneaky and someone else? THE PLOT THICKENS!!!
Also i propose another theory, 'Notch' didnt log into Escapia as a warning, but rather as a distraction! Someone, anyone, could have snooped around, learned our secrets or planted something, rather easily, while all the attention was on the fake Notch!!!!1!1!!one!
and a big thank you to derek for letting me in![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
"Alright. You guys deserve to know. So does Stalke. I don't want Stalke to sell Escapia to Beard-Tec, but he has to," Welwyn explained. "These are grave times, and Seahaven is strategically the best location possible to dock and get to Tekland as soon as possible."
"What do you mean? Seahaven will always be open for Escapian dockings. You know that," Tanis replied.
Welwyn sighed. "It's not that simple. The Griefers are posing a bigger threat than ever before, and Tekland is looking like our best option for weapon construction... and..."
"And?" LS asked, concerned.
"And evacuation. If all goes wrong, we can fall back to Tekland and defend the docks relatively easily. The only way to ensure that we can defend well, is to turn Seahaven into a military base. The man I was meeting with was Louis Mountbatten of CUT. The idea was to sell Seahaven to Beard-Tec, who would then sell it to CUT. That way, we minimise panic and knowledge of the full plan. I'm sorry."
697 looked around aimlessly. The entire thing was amazing. A massive operation with hundreds of Griefers preparing their attack on Escapecraft, and it was all condensed into a single mountain. Or was it? The thought suddenly occurred to him that this was one of many Griefer camps readying an attack. After all, Towler didn't seem like he would be able to cause such terror in Escapia. He didn't have the iron fist that someone was clearly ruling with. But who did? He thought for a moment to ask Towler, but decided against it. It was better, he decided, not to know who he was working for.
"He wants to know that you got rid of the tracks."
Ghost turned to the messenger. "Yes. Tell the boss I got rid of all of them. There's no way anyone's going to find 697 or Proz. They should arrive at Towler's base soon, if not already. Then Step 3 goes into place. Has the other messenger left yet?"
The messenger nodded.
"Good. Tell the boss I'm ready when he is."
Stalke sighed. "So it's true then? Welwyn wants to sell Seahaven? I thought so. It seemed like he was pushing me to sell it, even if he said he wasn't. I just... I hate that he betrayed me."
"No, Stalke, it's not Welwyn. It's Escapia. They need the docks," Tanis said.
LS and Tanis explained the situation carefully to Stalke. "So, it's up to you. You can sell the land directly to CUT, or keep it."
Iron Fang travelled quickly. Someone, probably 697, had tried to get rid of these tracks, he was sure of that... But he could tell when that was the case. A part of him felt guilty for hunting an ex-fellow mentor, but Fang knew what was right.
As night was falling, he reached a clearing in the thick forest he had been making his way through, and found the perfect view from a cliff of a small camp at the foot of a large mountain. He watched carefully, searching for Proz or 697 in the small group of people.
From further away, two armed men led a prisoner towards the camp. The men at the camp leaped to their feet and spoke with the prisoner-bearing men for a moment. Then, one ran towards the mountainside.
"Prisoner!" he yelled. A boulder was pushed to the side, revealing a tunnel in the mountain. Then, to Iron's shock, a familiar face stepped out. It was Towler.

It'll probably just be a troll build-up, just about to reveal the master plan or twist or whatever, when all the characters suddenly get knocked out by some nuclear warfare or other.
