This actually got me thinking about something: why aren't inventories separate for PvP?

Combat in Minecraft is so crude fights are usually determined by who showed up with the better gear. By forcing people to gather their materials in PvP instead of bringing them from survival it could add an element of strategy to the the whole affair. Players would need permanent bases to mine for ores and store their weapon stockpiles. There'd be motivation to attack, and by extension defend these bases. Teamwork would be more important; to give protection to miners and supply weapons to combatants.

One problem with that though is the fact that when people actually get good enough gear they can just kill anyone who is trying to get it.

Here's actually some animations I made when I was in a high school Animation and Multimedia class. Pretty proud of it. Glad I kept it. Even more glad that I found it after all this time! XD
In the class I used programs such as Bryce 3D, Alice, Rhino, Dreamweaver, and other techy stuff.
