Love the theories, and I'm glad I've got more material for your characters, but I've had the ending planned out from the moment I announced this. ![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)
Keep suggesting theories though. Maybe one day, you'll get it.
Maybe you already have. :O
Maybe not though.

Phew, thank god you didn't plan on trashing the idea of future updates to this. (:

Noooo!
I had a post with multiple choices and everything...
and I lost it. Needed to log back in, and when I did, it was gone. I tried the back button, which usually works, but for some reason, it didn't this time.
I'll try one tomorrow, but no promises.

I've got about half a post written. Hopefully I'll get the other half done tonight.
Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
For future updates, i think it would be a lot better if you typed it all up on word first, then copy/paste it into a post. That way it is far easier to edit and there is no chance of being automatically logged out from the forums while typing up a huge as post, you can also save what you have written and when the time comes you'll have the full story in a single document ready to be given out!Skunk_Giant wrote:I've got about half a post written. Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
"Godavari, a word?" Invun stepped into Godavari's house without a response, followed by Random.
"What do you want, Inv?" Godavari sighed.
"The truth. Random and I have come up with a brand new theory. In fact, it's fact."
"I doubt it, Inv."
"What do you know about Gigem?" Random asked, pushing him against the wall.
Inv grabbed his hands and pulled him off Godavari. "No, we only interrogate when I gave the signal."
"You guys aren't too good at this, are you?" Godavari asked, brushing himself off.
Inv stepped forward. "Alright, look, we want to know about Comet and 697."
"There's nothing to say."
"We believe 697 is working with Comet and someone else to lead the attack of Griefers against Escapia."
Godavari walked away. "What do you know about 697?"
Random whispered to Inv, "aren't we supposed to ask the questions?"
"Go with it," Inv whispered back. "Not a lot, Godavari. We know he was respected before the... incident."
"And yet he did something stupid like that. Something so out of character. But, I guess I've said enough already."
"Wait, what are you saying?" Random asked.
"Nothing... Nothing," Godavari sighed. "You should go now."
Ghost passed a loaf of bread over to Iron, then resumed eating the chicken he'd caught.
"So, what were you doing out here?" Iron asked.
"I could ask you the same..."
"So you could. Well, if you must know, I was searching for the escaped prisoners, 697 and Proz. And you?"
"Yeah... The same."
Iron took a chunk of the bread. "On that note, did you see anyone else around the area?"
"No, why?"
"I there were covered up tracks. I was able to follow them still, but someone was clearly doing it."
"No surprise there. They've broken out of prison. It'd be odd if they HADN'T covered their tracks."
"Well," Iron began suspiciously, "that's the weird bit. The way they were covered means they had to have been followed by someone else who deliberately covered them."
"So... somebody else is helping them. Is it possible the Griefers from the mountain did it?"
"It's pretty far. I hate to say it, but it seems like it may be one of the prison guards," Iron said grimly.
Far off on a cliff, an old hut stood, looking out to the ocean. The curtains were shut.
For a moment, one opened, and a face stared through the window.
Sti squinted and hissed at the light shining through, before quickly shutting the curtain.
"Too much goin' on in Escapia today..." he said, continuing his rambling.
Stalke barged through the doors of CUT HQ.
"How'd you get in here?" Haxx demanded.
"Someone at the door let me in," Stalke said firmly, walking by.
Haxx sighed. He stumbled over to the front door. "No Derek, you're supposed to make sure the door stays closed, not open."
"Oh... right. That makes sense. It was constantly trying to close."
"Yeah, that generally happens when physics work..."
"Search the area!" Towler cried as the Griefers poured out of the mountain. "Kill the mentor. I want the Leader alive!"
697 watched next to him. "Found a Leader?"
"Yes. A mentor was poking around. We nearly had him, but a Leader from Escapia tricked the idiots and saved the mentor," Towler replied, angry. "But we'll hunt them through the forests. They wont get far."
"I hear voices outside!" Fang whispered. "They've found us!"
He looked around. To his right was the only exit and entrance to the cave. There was nowhere else to go. If they tried leaving, they would be caught, but if they stayed, they could end up with their backs against the wall.
"What do we do?"
Stalke burst into Mountbatten's office, determined.
"Alright. I'll sell it. Only because it's for the good of Escapia."
Louis turned, surprised. "Oh, it's you. That's nice."
"Shall we work out an offer?"
"No," Lord said simply, before making his way to the exit.
"What do you mean? I thought you wanted Seahaven! I thought you needed it!" Stalke yelled.
"Need it? Arguable. Want it? Yes. Right now? No. This may come as a surprise, Stalke, but Seahaven is not the key to winning this war. It's simply part of a much bigger plan."
"What war? I thought these were just simple Griefers!"
"Stalke, we're at war. It's simple. Everyone knows it, but we can't make it official. There'd be too much panic. Now if you'll excuse me, I have more important work to get to."
With that, Mountbatten stepped past Stalke into a large group of armed CUT Agents. They handed him some armour and a sword, and with that, were gone.
Haxx stepped up to Stalke silently. "It's harsh, but true. We're at war, Stalke. And Seahaven, as great as it is, can't change that. Not on its own."
Tanis slumped to the floor. "Can we stop now? Pleeeeease?"
"No. Going by the schedule, we're about three hours behind where we're supposed to be," LS explained.
"But I'm hungry! And thirsty! And tired!"
"Tough. We were sent to scout the area. We're not going to be the only Escapians to fail a mission as simple as that."
"Wait, LS!"
"No, we're continuing."
"No, I mean, look! Ahead!" Tanis whispered. "Who's that?
The two stared at the campsite ahead. It was about five hundred metres away, maximum, and by the looks of it, stretched for miles. Hundreds of soldiers were moving back and forth in it.
"It looks like an army campsite! Maybe it's Escapian..."
"Or maybe it's Griefers," Tanis shuddered.
"Or a neighbouring Empire?"
"Do you think they're friendly?"
"I dunno, but they're blocking our path."
Inv stared intently at his feet, trying to think. "He was telling us something, Random."
"That still doesn't explain your sudden fascination with your feet."
Inv looked up. "I was just thinking... Godavari was trying to help us. He knows too much."
"Too much for what?"
"I dunno. It just sounded cool. He was trying to tell us something about 697. I think he was confirming our theory. 697 Griefed out of rage for Gigem's banishing. Clearly, he and Comet are working with Gigem to co-ordinate the attack."
"That... that might make sense," Random admitted. "But we need more proof."

Tanis, I think we should pick C, unless I get awesome ice powers in which case i would try B, cause then I could fight my way out by freezing everyone.

As a Leader, you can use powers, but this army camp is massive. If you were to get into a fight with them, your powers wouldn't be able to get you out.

You're not THAT powerful. Even Wokka has his limits.LS13 wrote:Couldn't I just freeze them all and walk out ._.
I never really made it too clear, but I hinted a few times earlier in the story that Leaders have a sort of recharge thing. They can use their powers for a limited time, but then must wait a bit.
Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
@Invun
I say we ask Derrek what he knows (He works in CUT and is rather a loose tongue, he is bound to know something) Then maybe we can check the prison records (even restricted ones
), learn more about 697, Gigem and the 'incident'.

Just spent FAR too much time copying and pasting PoE into a text document and separating it into shorter chapter. Now time to mass-produce in-game books!

Turns out the writable books are complete shit, and it's going to take me at least an hour to make one copy. Also, it doesn't allow you to leave a blank line between paragraphs, so that sucks.

Sti, if you want to make a blank line, put this: §r on the line- it's the formatting code to reset it to normal, so it doesn't mess up your writing, but it counts as having something on the line so you can press enter and go onto the next one.
