Removal of /sethome (for PvP)
By the 31st players will be unable to use /home commands in the PvP world.
Now you'll have to find some other way to be a big cheaty cheat.
Edit: (by Tulonsae)
What we're actually removing is the ability to set your home in pvp. You will still be able to use the /home command. But you wont be able to sethome. Yes, I will be deleting any homes currently set to the PvP world.

Re: Removal of /home
I think something should also be done about /gs and /spawn in PvP too.

Re: Removal of /home
Can you still set home in pvp or is it absolutely no homey commands whatsoever?

Re: Removal of /home
This is a good idea. Less people fleeing from me.
You should also disable the ability to either place beds or to set homes in them, since your home stays in the same spot after the bed is gone. A while ago, I found two player's spawn points and was able to repeatedly kill them by placing lava over their spawns. As fun as it was, it spammed chat with tons of messages, and if a player was left there indefinitely, they would have no way of getting out of the constant cycle of dying, since they would die before being able to type a message.

Re: Removal of /home
So we can set home in PvP, but we cant use it in PvP...Im ok with that. I keep a mine in PvP in a place I feel Im pretty safe so that Im not undermining all the useful land left in survival. As long as I can make it out with my booty...until gs is disabled...then I will be leaving pvp

Re: Removal of /home
My understanding is that you will be unable to sethome or have a home in PvP. As soon as I get that clarified, I'll post again.

Re: Removal of /home
Ok, OP is clarified. I'll update the title too.
Also, you may all thank 2 of our players for this decision. They set their homes to pvp and then when lava was placed on that location, they repeatedly died in an endless loop - spamming chat. This brought the entire thing to our attention, and we'd never intended for players to be able to set home in pvp.

Those two players were oilminer1989 and yakattack011, who fell victim to my deadly bucket of lava (:Tulonsae wrote:Ok, OP is clarified. I'll update the title too.
