The Prophecy of Escapecraft - Y u so new post?
Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
War is it... Guess Escapia is about to go through some deep stuff and I'm gonna have to arm my self to protect my land and its people even if Seahaven is no longer mine.

Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
Derek put away the final files and prepared to head out for lunch. He sighed. It was just another boring day at a desk job. He missed being on the ship... Even if it did end with hundreds of Escapian hostages.
"Derek..."
He turned. In the dark shadows of the room, a figure stood. "Who's there?" He asked.
"We need to talk."
"Your sword, Sir," Matthew said, holding the weapon towards Lord Mountbatten.
Lord nodded in appreciation. "Matthew, right?"
"Yes, Sir."
"Soldier M477..."
"That's right."
Lord took a deep breath. He hated these parts, but he needed to make the soldiers trust him so he could trust them in return. "Soldier, I want you to promise me that no matter what happens, you'll follow every order out there."
"Of course, Sir."
"Good. Go join the others."
Lord sighed and looked out to sea. The boat rocked steadily as the Escapian mainland slowly faded away. Matthew had promised his loyalty no matter what, but Louis feared that soon, every soldier's loyalty would be pushed to the limit.
"Let's go, quickly!" LS cried, grabbing Tanis and pulling him along. "We need to warn Seahaven!"
"What if they're not hostile?" Tanis breathed, struggling to keep up.
"We can't take the risk!"
Stalke sighed, turning away from Haxx. He was sad and furious at Lord's recent words, but part of him knew that Louis was right. War was coming, and Seahaven alone couldn't save Escapia. He stormed through the CUT HQ, wanting nothing more than to leave the place, before bumping into Invun.
"Sorry," Stalke said, walking by him.
"Wait, Stalke. Did you just speak to Louis?" Inv asked.
"About twenty minutes ago, why?"
"I need to speak to him. Did he seem busy?"
"Well, he was putting on armour and leaving on a ship, so I'd say so," Stalke said.
"Damn..."
Louis stepped into the massive military camp. He reached to the ground and picked up a handful of dirt. The soil on Tekland felt different. Richer.
"Soldiers, Seahaven is ours by negotiation." There was a cheer from the crowd. "But we haven't taken it yet," he explained. "Seahaven is home to many. And like any town, there will be people who refuse to leave. That, soldiers, is why you are here. Seahaven is now property of CUT and the Escapian Military. Make that perfectly clear."
Sti stretched as he stepped out of bed. Cautiously, he peered out the window, hissing slightly at the light again. Something had woken him up... but what?
"Invasion!" someone yelled.
That was it. He slowly pushed the window open, sticking his head out. Tanis ran by his house screaming. "Invasion, Sti! Invasion!"
"W-what?"
"There's an army! An army's coming to invade Seahaven!"
"Are you sure?" Sti asked urgently. "Who is it?"
"We don't know, but we saw them camped out! LS13 and I!"
"Alright, go notify Welwyn. I'll try and find Stalke."
"He's on the Escapian Mainland!"
"Damn it... Fine, then I'll try and organise everyone to defend. We're not letting Seahaven fall. We'll never hear the end of it from Stalke."
Louis watched as half the army charged off to take Seahaven. He hoped it would go smoothly. He knew it wouldn't.
"Alright, Tyrese. It's time. Let's go to the mountain."
"Block the entrance, with rocks!" Iron said urgently, leaping to his feet. Ghost followed suit, and the two were quickly rolling the largest boulders they could towards the entrance. "We'll need to wait it out until they leave."
"If they leave."
At that moment, a Griefer cried something out before slamming hard into the now blocked up entrance. He yelled again. "They're in here! I can hear them!"
"Crap."
Ghost pulled his sword out cautiously. "Get ready, Fang..."
Welwyn walked quickly to the inland border of Seahaven, followed by LS13 and Tanis. "How far away were they?" He asked.
"Couldn't say... They weren't moving," Tanis noted. "But that was a while ago."
"I'll get everyone organised to defend Seahaven, you two prepare to fight."
"Job's already done," Sti said, appearing behind them. "The town's on full alert. I've got archers around defensive walls and swordsmen ready at the weak points. Our potion-makers have supplied us with splash potions that will harm the enemy too. We're ready to defend."
"Impressive, Sti. Let's get ready then."
"Move, quickly," Louis cried as the other half of the army left the ship and rushed into the forest. "We lost communication from him recently. We need to move fast."
Tyrese followed Lord as the Agents and soldiers rushed ahead. "What if it's a trap?"
"What do you mean? It can't be."
"What if they found out the truth about him? What if he revealed everything? What if Ghost is already dead?"
"Stop thinking like that. We're going to do this successfully, and I'm going to have my revenge on that bastard," Lord said, unsheathing his sword. "Just make sure I don't go too far."
Matthew stepped carefully at the front of the army. He could see Seahaven in the distance. There was an uneasiness in the air. Something was wrong.
"I'll do the talking," he said, stepping forward. "Remember, we want no bloodshed. We've bought Seahaven, so they should move out quickly."
"What if they don't believe we bought it?" someone asked.
"They'll have to. We have the element of surprise. We'll take it by force if we must."
"I see them! Oh Notch... There are hundreds... thousands maybe!" Tanis cried.
"We'll need every man then," Wel said. "I trust we can count on you and LS13 to fight for us?"
"Of course," LS promised.
"Wait," Sti whispered. "They've stopped..."
"Then we take our chance," Wel said grimly. "Attack!"
With that, the archers fired, and the first soldiers fell.
Random stepped out of the shadows, revealing himself to Derek. "Derek, I want to know about Gigem."
"Who?"
"You must have files. Folders. Something! I need to know everything about him."
"Well... I could look him up. But I'm not supposed to show people information without permission..." Derek said, hanging his head.
"Don't worry, Mountbatten said it's alright."
"Awesome!" Derek cried. He handed Random a folder on Gigem. Random flicked through it. Nothing of importance.
He turned to leave. "Wait... what about Comet? What about Prisoner 697?"
Derek looked the files up. "Comet... He was a rather disrespected member of the community in many ways. He ultimately met his demise after touching the VCLB. Prisoner 697... No name listed here. He burnt down a small area of Escapia and was sent to prison. Broke out recently. That's all I've got. Oh, wait."
"Oh?"
"There's a note here..."
"What does it say? What does the note say, Derek?"
Derek squinted. "It's written in small letters... But it says... 'strong relations with the messenger'... uh... It says something else."
"What is it Derek?"
"It says... 'The Key'."
"Derek..."
He turned. In the dark shadows of the room, a figure stood. "Who's there?" He asked.

Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
Alright, this is kinda late notice, but I've decided to organise the story arcs a bit better. So, there will be books for each. We're currently in Book 2 (Book 1 was everything before the massive wait). This post will conclude Book 2. Don't worry, it wont mean a big wait or anything, it's just a way for me to organise things a bit better.
Edit: Scratch that. It'll be broken up into two posts.

Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
"They're firing at us!" A soldier cried.
"What do we do?" Matthew yelled, looking for someone to give him orders.
"Fight back! Torch the walls!"
Stalke lay calmly in the rocking boat, happy to be on his way home.
"Do you see that?" Whales asked, looking out from the front of the ship.
Stalke sighed and got up, making his way over to Whales. "See w- Oh no... That's... That's smoke."
"And fire... Seahaven's on fire!"
"The Key..." Random repeated. "What the hell is that supposed to mean? Derek, is the note dated in any way?"
"Well, it says the file was last modified by Louis Mountbatten... about six months ago," he replied. "Why?"
"Mountbatten... Derek, come with me, we've got to tell Inv! He could be in danger!" Random yelled, rushing out of the office. "Take me to Mountbatten's office!"
Tanis leaped over the walls to join the swordsmen charging at hostile army. With a small use of power, he shot a vine at the nearest tree, swinging up and over the first wave of enemies. He grabbed the nearest soldier, tackling him to the ground.
"Who are you fighting for?" he screamed, before his eyes widened. "Matthew?"
Inv walked with Haxx. "So there's nothing you can tell me about Gigem?"
"Sorry, most of the stuff in this building is classified. Louis needs to authorise you before I can show you any files. You're an Agent. You should know that."
"Inv, thank Notch you're OK!" Inv turned to see Random and Derek rushing after them.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"Where's Louis?" Random asked, catching his breath.
"He's on a classified mission," Haxx said. "Why?"
Random gave Inv a look to say, 'can we trust Haxx?'. Inv looked to Haxx hesitantly. "Look, Random, I don't know what you're talking about, but I don't think we should waste Haxx's time. Let's leave, we can talk later."
"Yeah, that's probably a good idea."
"No worries, I'm not too busy," Haxx said cautiously. "Maybe I can be of some help if you explain what's going on. Why do you need to see Louis?"
"Uh, we don't. I was just..." Random paused. "OK, fine... I wanted to get a promotion," he lied. "I've been working so hard and-"
"I'd suggest waiting for a bit," Haxx said. "The two of you are still new Agents and-"
"Yeah, yeah, I guess. Well, we'll be going then," Random said, turning. "Let's go Inv."
Stalke stepped onto the now empty Seahaven docks. In the distance, he could hear the sounds of battle. "What the hell's going on?"
"It sounds like we're being attacked," Whales explained. "Look, there's Sti!"
Sti turned at the mention of his name. "Stalke! It's bad. It's very bad. We're being attac-"
"By who?" Whales interrupted.
"I... I think I might know," Stalke muttered. "We can't win this fight."
"What do you mean?" Whales asked. "Who is it? Is it the Griefers?"
"It's... Escapia."
Iron pushed a final boulder in front of the entrance. "It wont hold for long," he explained. "What do we do when they break in?"
"We fight," Ghost whispered.
Matthew kicked Tanis back. "You did this, Tanis," he yelled, pushing his sword towards the Leader.
"Me? I'm trying to defend Seahaven! Why don't you explain why the Escapian Empire is trying to take it from us?" Tanis demanded.
"Trying to take it? We've already taken it! Give it up!"
"Wait... what?" Tanis asked, confused. But Matthew had already knocked him to the ground and resumed the fighting.
"Alright, why don't you tell me what's going on?" Invun suggested as he, Random and Derek left the CUT HQ.
"Louis Mountbatten is dangerous. He's planning something."
"Like what?" Inv asked.
"I don't know, but something's up here. 697 is his 'Key'."
"His 'Key'? What's that supposed to mean?"
"I don't know!"
Inv turned to Derek. "Any idea?"
"He doesn't have a clue. I say we work out what we know already, and then speak to Haxx," Random said. "Carefully though. If he's working with Louis, he may be dangerous."
"Alright, then we speak to Vallorn. I trust him. He might be able to help us," Inv said. "What about Derek?"
Random sighed. "I can't believe I'm doing this..." He turned to Derek. "Derek, you're going to be our inside man. If Haxx or Louis or anyone mention anything suspicious, you report to us, alright?"
Derek nodded uselessly.
"Alright, I'll speak to Haxx, you to Vall," Random said. "Derek, head back to the CUT HQ alone. We never had this conversation, got it?"
LS thrust his palm towards a charging enemy, freezing him in his tracks, before leaping up and freezing everything within a ten metre radius of him.
"LS!" Tanis cried, shooting a vine towards him.
"Tanis! These soldiers... They aren't in uniform. What sort of Empire sends its soldiers to attack us without a uniform?"
"It's us, LS! Escapia is invading Seahaven!" Tanis cried.
"What? No... Why?"
"Retreat!" A cry came from one of the remaining walls. Sti and Stalke stood, yelling to the people of Seahaven. "Retreat!"
"What are you doing?" LS cried. "We can still fight! We can still save Seahaven!"
"No... We can't. Their army is too big. We've lost the battle, LS. We need to leave. Seahaven is gone."
With that, the people of Seahaven rushed back to the docks, desperately trying to sail away before being slain.
Matthew watched as the town slowly became overrun by the Escapian Soldiers and the CUT Agents. He watched as an angry Zinrius led the charge. "Torch the town. Leave only the useful buildings. If they think they can defy us, we'll show them that there will be punishments."
"Sir, doesn't that seem harsh?"
"I said torch it! Torch the town. Torch their ships. Leave the industrial buildings and the docks. No mercy."
Matthew picked up his torch and lit it on the fires of a burning building.
"They're almost through, Ghost!" Iron cried. "Get ready!"
Towler watched as the soldiers struggled to push another boulder out of the way. 697 and Proz stood by his side.
"It wont be long now," Towler muttered to himself. He turned to the others. "And soon, we'll have a Leader. Another."
"Another?" 697 asked. "You mean, you already had one?"
"Of course... We kidnapped Milo. You didn't hear?" Towler asked. 697 nodded in grim silence.
"Prisoner 697. Its been a while..." A voice came from behind the three men. They all turned to see one man waiting with a smile.
"Lord Louis Mountbatten. Its been a long time," Towler whispered.
697 and Proz stared in shock.
Louis smiled, and shook Towler's hand. "Far too long."

a) Follow orders. Torch the town.
b) Don't take part in it.
c) Fight back against the Escapian army and help the Seahaven residents escape.

Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
The epic conclusion to The Prophecy of Escapecraft Book 2 is coming... eventually.
Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
I'll go option b.
How could you do such a thing Tanis, even though I don't quite understand what it was.

Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
Im a bit confused as to whos doing what and why in regards to Seahaven and the Escapian army, didnt mount buy Seahaven? so why is there an attack on it? And why would other Escapians be willing to attack and burn it, especially someone like Zin? Also if Mount has bought Seahaven why does he want most of it burnt down?
Me thinks 697 is Mounts key/agent within the griefers and Mount is planning with the griefers to eventually take over escapia. Or Mount is planning on the griefers to cause havoc and when the moment is right he will swoop in and hatch whatever devious plan he has!

Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
I cant answer all of that, as most of it is explained later, but...
I probably didn't make this clear enough. Mount bought Seahaven, and had already sent an army to take it, regardless of whether or not Stalke sold it (this was the camp Tanis and LS saw). The army then got word that Seahaven had been sold to them, and went to take it peacefully.
The people of Seahaven, however, had not been told yet, and believed the army were trying to attack and take over Seahaven. So, naturally, they defended it. The Escapian Army, of course, defended themselves when the people of Seahaven attacked.
As for the rest, you'll have to find out.

Seems quite fitting. I'm still confused as hell though... oh well. I'll figure it out later.

We need Afly to detonate Seahaven's nuclear reactor as a grand finale. Fireworks galore!

People with a sane mind normally encase their reactor in reinforced concrete with a password-locked reinforced door. Thankfully, aflycon has mystical uber haxx0rz ways to get around these password-locked reactor setups.LS13 wrote:Hmm freezing a nuclear reactor would probably kill me O_o

Re: The Prophecy of Escapecraft
Going to start writing the finale now...
No promises I'll get it done tonight, as I've got some other stuff to do as well, but I'll do my best.
