Re: Fallout 4
Games made off of movies tend to be FAR more worse, imo

Re: Fallout 4
Well, let's just hope it doesn't end up to be nearly as buggy as Fallout NV was, prior to the numerous patches made for it.

I'm not especially bothered, by the time I get around to buying it they'll already have patched it.Invunarble wrote:Well, let's just hope it doesn't end up to be nearly as buggy as Fallout NV was, prior to the numerous patches made for it.

Re: Fallout 4
Unfortunately, for people like me who are genuinely interested in games of such a compelling degree, waiting on the game devs to make a metric shit ton of patches really doesn't work out, since I just end up finishing the game by the time they manage to release the patches necessary for fixing such bugs.
I just think there's certain games (most Obsidian games) that really need to have a larger focus on alpha/beta bug testing, instead of having them make consumers act as beta testers or some sort.

Re: Fallout 4
Gonna be honest, as someone who played Fallout New Vegas at launch on the Xbox, neither me nor any of my friends experienced any game-crippling (or even irritating) bugs. While they're hardly bug free, I think their problems in that respect are overstated

Re: Fallout 4
I had more trouble with Fallout 3 than I ever did with New Vegas. Everyone seems to always take sides without liking both games for some reason. Both are good, just New Vegas is really good.
And since pretty much everything Obsidian makes is actually GOOD and INTERESTING they deserve much more slack than they usually get.

Oh yes, exactly what they do.Invunarble wrote:instead of having them make consumers act as beta testers or some sort.

Re: Fallout 4
I can and do expect bugs within initial release of games like skyrim and fallout, but they come out with an update to fix it fairly quickly(usually), so I'm fine with it. And with such enormous games, it's not a surprise that there are a few glitches here and there when they release it.

Re: Fallout 4
The bugs (generally) are funnier than they are frustrating. However, I can attest to having at least one savegame fucked up by a quest-breaking bug, which (while still very funny) inexplicably killed an important NPC and prevented me from finishing a long and apparently interesting quest.
Concerning a new Fallout, though.. I am excite.
