Is it a Scart to VGA/DVI connector? I'm probably wrong.

Re: What The Devil Is That?!
I scoured Google for like an hour and came up with nothing.
I'm guessing: The DB9 port connects to some sort of dumb terminal that's used to review data from or directly control SCSI devices. The RJ45 either allows the same thing, or is used to give additional networking capabilities to the dumb terminal that's plugged in to the DB9.

An hour? WoW! it wasn't worth that much trouble.
We had a lot of good guesses, but the object is an interface module for a phone system to ethernet. The db-9 is a diagnostics port, and what Sneaky thought was a led screen is just a sticker. Bad quality phone pic, sorry. It also adds a bit to the mystery of it though.
Everyone who guessed it was a scsi connector or the like were slightly in the ball-park, because it uses the same centronics-50 connector, but many things besides scsi uses that.

Re: What The Devil Is That?!
Looks like a mounting tray of some kind.
A couple of guesses:
The panel the MoBo sits on.
The tray the DVD Drive sits in.
The tray the HDD sits in.

Re: What The Devil Is That?!
Nice, I dreamt about this last night for some reason (does that count as dreaming about minecraft?), and figured out in my dream that it was an access panel on the back of my oven at home.
