James leaped for the nearest bush, Luke hid behind a tree, and Adder jumped in a small hole to the side. They watched carefully as the bright lights approached them, it was a car, likely from the complex. The car pulled over, and three figures got out.
James watched silently from the bush, ready to run. As the figures approached, he realised they were familiar...
"C'mon guys, you gotta do better than that." Vallorn grinned. The three hiding came out to find Sarge, Vallorn and David.
"Vallorn!" Luke yelled happily.
The six told stories of their escape with happiness, and after a few moments, David pulled them together.
"Now, I'm not sure if you've noticed, but we're missing an important person." He said with an encouraging tone. "Right now, Dennis his probably dreaming about experimenting on Chef's brain with his filthy hands, so it's our job to make sure that doesn't happen."
"How do we know he's still alive?" Adder asked, unsure.
"We don't. But shouldn't we find out?" David responded.
"Well, last I saw, the complex was being overrun by zombies. How do we know where they are?" Luke asked.
"Again, we don't. Tell me, why were you three heading there?"
"We've heard that there's safety in other countries, Luke and Adder are trained with planes, so we figured we'd take off." James stated.
"Trust me, Adder ain't the best pilot... I mean, the first time we flew with him, we ended up in a massive crash with zombies everywhere..." Sarge chuckled.
"You were heading to the complex for a plane, so here's the plan," David began, "we arrive at the complex. While some of us fight to clear the path to the plane, I and James will search for tracks, clues of where they've gone. We've got ourselves two pilots, so we take helicopters. That way, we can stay close to the ground and stop with short notice. The first chopper will be piloted by Luke. Luke, you'll need to take Vallorn and James. Adder, you'll pilot the second one and take I and Sarge. If possible, look for armed choppers."
More coming soon, and yes, you WILL have a choice in the next post!
