the new Subway Thread.

It's old but gold. If it could help you out we've probably chucked it in here.

the new Subway Thread.

Post by vallorn » 20 May 2011, 08:17

well as the core line is now done, connected to the southern, eastern and northern branches and soon to be made Western Branch i figured we needed to start with a clean thread.

the majority of the work now needs to be maintinance and Station Upgrades.

if anyone sees griefing or anything on the tracks that shouldnt be there please report which line its in on here so me/ another Subway engineer can go fix it.

TehBeard is currently upgrading the stations to use Sorter Blocks. i think hes going to post the instructions on how to use the new system here to help you guys with it.

at the moment: im compiling all the towns we link together so i can make a map of the network for you guys.

Rail Status: DOWN FOR MAINTENECE
Quick summary for using the stations

type /fbst station name to select the station you want. (e.g /st solake or /st branchscape

goto the correct platform for the station you want (there will be signs directing you.)

Press a button to call a cart, hop in, then press the button to go.

If you litter the lines, grief, or break lines w/o informing us (we anticipate the accidental tunnelling incident), expect my boot to swiftly connect firmly with your behind.

An instruction video will be available once the majority of the line is complete.

UPDATE

I've been talking to the falsebook author, and he plans to roll my station sorter code into the official build. As of now Terra's subway network is broken till we get a source release so i can patch it back in, or GeMo updates FalseCart.

ERTA is in no way responsible for the fyra rail network, please direct all queries about that to the mods.
