The Family - Positions Available! - Rated M
Re: The Family - Positions Available! - Rated M
Name: Luis Alejandros
Age: 31
Appearance: With long, black, knotted dreadlocks, a chiseled face, and dark eyes, Alejandros looks much like what you'd expect from someone of his background. He's tall, around six-foot-one, with a somewhat muscular build which is ideal for running and tactical situations. His teeth are straight and generally very white. You'll usually find red, yellow, and green beads in his hair, as well as a dark brown newsboy hat on his head. Alejandros has a tendency to wear aviator sunglasses, regardless of the weather. He dresses in quite typical “gangsta” clothing: the sagging jeans, loose tee-shirts and jackets, and large jewelry. However, unlike the large rings and other necklaces he wears, a small black crucifix hangs on a silver chain around Alejandros' neck.
Personality: Alejandros, in general, is pretty laid back. He won't pick a fight unless he's staring down the barrel of a gun, and he's pretty easy to get along with. Alejandros isn't usually bitchy unless something traumatic has happened to him recently, and tends to keep his mouth shut when in the company of anyone who is. He's made a lot of friends and a lot of enemies over the years, but he's decided beggars can't be choosers. He's quick to jump to a friend's defense, or even that of a stranger.
Background: Born in a suburb in Jamaica in January 1981, Alejandros grew up in a sea of gang violence and political unrest. His father was a very minor figure in his childhood, having left Alejandros' mother before the child was born, so his mother raised him until she was shot and killed, when Alejandros was fifteen. He decided he wanted a better live and packed his bags, moving out of Jamaica to Pandora. Alejandros had no mafia affiliation whatsoever prior to arriving in Pandora. He is, for want of a better term, “fresh meat” on the mob scene. Currently, he has no intention of associating himself with any of the four families.
Alejandros is particularly skilled at keeping a level head in high-octane situations, and has a high tolerance for pain. Although he is a fine mediator, his efforts occasionally fall on deaf ears due to his heavy use of slang terms. Generally, violence is a last resort for Alejandros.
Talent: Alejandros is a relatively skilled driver; he practices in his spare time out in the countryside.
Strength: 8

Re: The Family - Positions Available! - Rated M
Lucia bashed through the door to the burning building to find screaming gang members rushing for exits. She pulled out her gun and let three shots out in the air, making sure everyone knew she was dangerous. One guy tackled her, but he quickly received a bullet in the head, and fell back into a fire.
"Freeze, police!" She could hear voices from outside, they were arresting the gang members... That meant Lombardi's men were down. Footsteps came into the burning building. The police had come in after her.
A bright torch light whipped by her, illuminating her foot in a white glow, in contrast to the red glow of the fire.
"Freeze!" A man screamed. Lucia kept running, shooting blindly behind her.
Hundreds of bullets flew by her, they were using automatic weapons now. She pulled out her phone and dialled in a panic as she broke out onto the street.
"Yes?"
"Lombardi, it's Angel. All your guys are down. We killed most of the cheetahs and burnt the building down, but the cops are on my ass now!" Lucia yelled.
"Shit. Where are you?"
"I've just left the back entrance of their building!" A police car sped up behind her, but Lucia took a quick turn into an alley which the car couldn't fit through.
"I've got some guys about thirty seconds away, stay around the area and look out for a black van."
Moments passed as Lucia rushed around corners and made her way back to the building, the police hot on her tail. The van pulled up on the other side of the road, but she could hear sirens coming too.
Lucia rushed across the road to the van, the doors opening. There was a screech as a car came to a halt, but only after smacking into her. Lucia felt her left leg go numb as she was thrown a few metres. The police cars came to a halt by her and rushed to her, guns ready, but two men leaped out of the black van, shooting the cops.
More cops came around the burning building as the two men pulled Lucia to the black van. As the van sped off, bullets flew after them, but in vain. They had escaped.
Christian slammed his fist down, swearing. It seemed nobody knew about this Luigi guy. No criminals, no cops, nobody knew.
His phone rang, the familiar ring tone urging him to pick it up. It was Daniels.
"Yeah?"
"Christian, it's Daniels. I might have some news for you. Recently got some reports of gunfire in one of the old neighbourhoods. So, I headed there with some reinforcements and found a burning building and three armed men. They shot and killed a few, but we managed to take them out and ended up arresting a large gang. Unfortunately, someone else was seen escaping. We lost them."
"Male or female?"
"Didn't see them well. I can't say."
"Shit... Keep on the lookout for our guy. Look for any clues around the crime scene for where he or she might have been heading." Christian hung up the phone and continued searching. His phone rang again. In hopes of news about Luigi, Christian quickly answered, only to find the furious voice of Angelo on the other end.
"Christian! What the fuck happened? I'm not paying for nothing, I'm paying you to kill that asshole Fred. Is it done?"
"There were issues. The others were killed in a firefight. Fred had another kid with him, and they were both armed."
"Shit. You keep searching the city for him, and keep hidden. The police are going all over the city, God knows why..."

You'll notice I'm not putting as many choices in. I will put them in a bit, but there are so many options in most cases, that I'm letting you all PM me with what you want your character to do.

New thing: If there is a spoiler, it can only be read by the player who's name is above it. This is so you don't know more information than you should. This all relies on trust, so please don't read other spoiler tags. After you've made your decision (which should be through PM in a case of a spoiler tag), please do go back and read them so you understand what's going on, but don't read what you shouldn't until after you've made your choice... If that makes sense.

"Mr Kindig, I have an offer for you." Joe said, not taking his eyes off the road. "I'm looking for people to join me. I plan on creating a team..."
"And what would this team do? What sort of team is it?"
"It's a team that will work for the mafia, Mr Kindig."
"The mafia? But, why me? I'm not a good fighter at all."
"No, but you have a reason. Talbeno's a rich man, and I hate to break it to you, but he's involved with the mafia too. He's a friend of Lombardi's, and if he wants to, he can make your life pretty horrible. So you join me, I'll keep you protected. I have strong ties with Nicolani and Turner. What do you say, there's money involved..."

Re: The Family - Positions Available! - Rated M
Name: Christian "Terror" Galitsky
Age: 21
Appearance: Short brown hair, brown eyes, 6'2", slightly below average weight, Caucasian male or slight slavic descent. Christian wears primarily t-shirts printed by either Atticus Black or Macbeth Shoes.
Personality: Christian is a private and largely apathetic person. Though he can be socially engaging when he needs to, he prefers to leave no impression so as to avoid being pulled into the trouble he causes. Christian greatly enjoys his work and is likely a sociopath. He is definitively a compulsive liar and suffers from at least one anxiety disorder.
Backround: Orphaned at an early age from circumstances unclear even to him, Christian spent his childhood living with foster families. Several abused him, though one, the Galitsky family, adopted him. His adoptive father, Andrey Galitsky, had served in a special forces group, the name or flag of which he never revealed to Christian. During his service, Andrey had learned several fighting styles, among them were the Russian styles of Systema and Sambo as well as the Japanese style called Judo. These were the only ones that Andrey managed to push off onto Christian. The neighborhood the Galitsky Family lived in was not the best; crime bred and flourished everywhere. In this cesspool, Christian trusted only two people other than his adoptive parents, A Welsh boy named Andy, who is one year Christian's junior, and a Petite white girl named Chrissy, who is the same age as Christian. Christian inevitably became the fighter of the group, using his speed and what was probably a natural inclination to kill to protect his friends while they lied, cheated, and stole their way through life. When he was fifteen, Christian was stabbed in a street fight that started when Chrissy pulled upwards of two hundred dollars from the pocket of some street trash. The power of a blade fascinated him. At age sixteen, Christian had his first kill, a drug dealer that thought the kids had stolen several bricks of cocaine from him. The drug dealer was killed, not by a knife wound, as might be expected, but by having several of vertebrae in his neck thoroughly crushed. Christian continued down his chosen path, a path soaked with blood. This path became set in stone when Andrey died of a sudden aneurysm a few weeks after Christian's nineteenth birthday. Following this Christian grew distant to his friends, rarely speaking to them by his twenty first birthday. Christian owned several knives, his favorite being an eight-inch trench knife that he used in a reverse grip, and a Beretta M9 pistol. Christian did not like guns because he found them to "lack finesse" but knew the necessity of owning one in the current world. His weapons, save a knife he owns only as a memento, were stolen from his place of residence shortly before his 21st birthday.
Talents: Systema, Sambo, Judo, knife combat, moderate parkour experience with a number of minor injuries ascribed to it.

Hooray for a new player! I'll read over your character sheet in a moment. Just know that you might not be introduced for a few posts, depending on how I fit you in.
Also, I recommend you read through the previous bits of the story. If you haven't already, you may want to wait, as I'll be updating the OP with the story so far every chapter, and this chapter is nearly over.
Also, expect a new post tonight, guys!

Added to the OP 'Services'.
Black, I'll just call Blank's character 'Terror', since that's his character's nickname.
Also, I MAY miss out on a post tonight, but I'll still try.

Re: The Family - Positions Available! - Rated M
"You heard correctly, Leaf," Christian responded, looking around. As he watched, a familiar face rushed across the floor, "and I think… I just found him…" Christian finished. He rushed into the crowds before Leaf could respond. Leaf looked around for a moment, and leaped into the crowds after Christian.
Luigi scurried over, keeping out of view. He tried to cut off the men, but they were already at Davids. They pushed him around until a Jamaican man arrived and started talking to the suited men.
Luigi kept rushing, but he was caught up in the crowds…
"'scuse me, is there a problem here?" Luis asked, approaching the five men.
"Yeah, you're the problem mate, now piss off," replied one man, "we don't wanna bring anyone else into this."
Luis spoke in a loud voice, hoping others would hear and come to help. "I think you all better leave."
A man walked over to the scene, approaching one of the five men. "Hey, buddy, what's going on here?"
The man who had spoken to Luis turned. "Alright, I'm fucking tired of this." As he reached into his jacket, the other four men followed. In one swift movement, he pulled out a small pistol, and fired.
The man toppled over, dropping at Luis's feet. Luis, with horror in his eyes, leaped behind cover, and the entire nightclub broke into a fit of screams.
"Shit!" Christian screamed, reaching for his gun. "Freeze! Police!"
The suited men, Nicolani's men, turned to Christian, their guns raised. When they saw him, they lowered their guns. "Christian? What are you doing here? Nicolani didn't tell us you'd be here."
Christian was relieved. So Nicolani didn't know yet, these men weren't here for him... "Look, guys, I'm busy. I know the deal, I'll make sure this is all cleaned up. you just finish your job and get out of here."
Christian rushed off in search of Luigi, his finger ready to pull the trigger.
Luigi pulled his hands out, pushing people aside in a rush to get to Davids. "You OK?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Let's just get the fuck outta here!" David's yelled.
Luigi escorted Davids to the exit, but in the crowd, they were separated. Davids was safe outside, but Luigi was still stuck in the sea of people trying to escape. It was then, that he felt the gun against his head.
Nicolani's men approached Christian, who now had his gun against Luigi's skull. "Christian, this ain't our guy... Nicolani sent us after uh... Some Davids guy... This ain't him."
"This is my guy. Remember the drugs that were lost earlier today? This guy had them, and I think he still has them." Christian said, loading his gun. Nicolani's men were confused, but raised their guns, aiming at Luigi.
"Lost?" Luigi questioned. "You took them from me!"
Nicolani's men raised their guns at Christian now, and then back to Luigi, obviously confused of who to shoot. "Christian, you have the drugs?"
"Bullshit, this asshole's just trying to stall. In fact, I'm gonna give this little shit an offer. You tell them that what you just said is a lie, and I let you live. You tell them the truth..." Christian said, pushing his gun harder into Luigi's skull.
"Tell the truth? Alright... This guy, this 'cop' took the drugs from me and then raided my house with some other of Nicolani's men. Then, he kills them and comes after me! Don't believe me? Why don't you check the bullets in the back of the heads of your dead men? It'll be the exact same shots he has in his pistol. That, and he'll have 5 grand worth of drugs somewhere around."
Christian knew he couldn't let his reputation with the Nicolani family be ruined.
"Yeah, that's enough, asshole."
Luigi ducked as Christian fired, the bullet hitting the first of Nicolani's men in the neck. The four remaining men fired at him, narrowly missing him. Luigi, meanwhile, rolled out of the way and found himself on the cold concrete of the street.
Christian, now alone in the nightclub with the four men, hid behind the bar. He could hear their steps coming closer, but he was ready. He quickly reached for a bottle of beer and threw it behind him, distracting the men. Then, he leaned out of the side, shooting their knees and ankles. When the last man dropped, he rushed out of the nightclub and reached for his phone.
"Daniels, we've had a huge shootout at the local nightclub. I was investigating the whereabouts of my guy when about five men come in and start opening fire. I managed to take them down with low civilian casualties. Send some guys over, I'll meet you here."
"Hey, so, you still got a guy you want taken care of?" Christian nearly screamed when he turned to find Leaf standing right behind him. "I decided to hide and wait until you were done."
"Leaf, you're a scary guy..."

"So there's money, eh?"
"And protection from Talbeno and anyone else you've beaten up over the years..."
"Alright, I'm in."
END OF CHAPTER
There'll be a report similar to Zombie Apocalypse soon.

ooh with this report maybe add a 'wanted status', Its like felony stars in GTA, the higher it is the more the cops are on the look-out for you.Skunk_Giant wrote:"So there's money, eh?"

Re: The Family - Positions Available! - Rated M
Christian pulled up by his colleagues familiar car. They were up on a large mountain overlooking a portion of the south of Pandora. Below them, the streets were filled with people going about their daily lives, and Christian was no different. He too was going about his daily life, just it involved inspecting the end of others.
"Detective Bormillio, the body's over here." A young man in uniform called. He led Christian to a large tree. At the bottom of the tree, a man lay, his eyes shut, his mouth open in horror, his clothes torn and bloodied. Christian checked the man's jacket pockets and found a phone, the screen smashed. He opened the back of it to find the contents missing.
Next to the phone, however, was a wallet. "Daniels, we got a lead!"
Daniels came rushing over as Christian pulled out an ID card. 'Samuel Flayne'.
"Brilliant, we've got a name. Come on Christian, we can do a quick search on this guy's address and see where that take's us." Daniels declared happily. He turned to his partner, who seemed to be staring into space. "Christian, what's the big deal?"
Christian snapped back into reality. "Hmm?"
"You're distracted. That Luigi guy, he's the source, right?"
"No, I'm just thinking about something..."
"Christian, why are you so worried about this guy? Sure, he killed a few people, but you haven't ever been this distracted before when dealing with assholes like him."
The truth was, Christian was worried for his own sake. Things weren't going how he expected them to. He figured within a couple of days he'd have Nicolani on his ass, but it'd been about a week and nothing had happened. He was beginning to become paranoid. "No, Daniels, it's nothing. Let's go..."
When they pulled up by the police department, Daniels walked ahead, going off to check the name while Christian was slow behind. A voice yelled behind him.
"Christian, they're onto you!"
Christian turned sharply. These were the words he was dreading, Nicolani had found out about everything... but who had yelled that?
He found a casually dressed man rushing up to a police officer. "You're sure?"
"Positive. They're talking about a mole, a hidden man in their ranks... It's not safe anymore," the officer decided.
Christian slowly approached the officer in hopes of finding out what was going on. "You called my name?" he asked the officer.
"Nope, don't think so... Hell, I don't even know yer name." The officer replied with a thick southern accent.
"It's Christian, Christian Bormillio."
"Bormillio eh? We got another Christian here. Galitsky."
The casually dressed man raised his hand in greeting. Christian just eyed him. "Galitsky... What do you do? Homicide?"
The officer asnwered for him. "He's actually not officially in the police. He's a nice fighter we picked up, doing some undercover work for us."
"Oh yeah? Gangs and stuff?"
"Mafias, they've recently been growing here." Galitsky responded.
"Mafias? I know a thing or two about them. I know there's one... The uh... Nicoleno family, is it? No... Nicolani, that's it."
"Yeah, he's the guy I'm working on."
"Oh? What's the latest news with him?" Christian asked innocently.
Galitsky and the officer chuckled, "not too much, unfortunately. They haven't got too many plans, just lazing around."
"Alright then, I'll be off. Work to do..." Christian ended the conversation and left to find Daniels.
So, nothing much... Nicolani obviously didn't know about him then, well, Galitsky didn't think so. However, with Galitsky being a mole in there, he could hear some information about Christian and rat him out to the police...
Galitsky may be a threat...
Black -
a) Decide Galitsky needs to be taken care of...
b) Forget about Galitsky for now. You've gotta get rid of Luigi.

I might back off from Luigi, he is hidden well, and dan has noticed.
That said though, can I ask Galitsky (or bribe him) to do some work for me finding Luigi.

Yup. I'll write that in the next post, and it'll be Blank_Kold's decision to say yes or no. So you wanna give yourself away to Galitsky, or just mention that Luigi's a criminal you've been tracking for a while or something...?

1. Black told the rest of the city's police that you're extremely dangerous and that you've killed many people (although, the people you supposedly killed were actually killed by him).
2. You'll get paid, don't worry.
Also, you can't really say much to Nicolani... yet. You don't know that Black conned Nicolani too, so you don't have any reason to talk to Nicolani.

I was thinking that the other day... Why is it always Random's character in threat? Then again, sooner or later, everyone's gonna end up scheming against each other and hiring hitmen in this game.
Re: The Family - Positions Available! - Rated M
Well Black, you are half-ratted as i told the men in the bar that you took the drugs. Once i actually learn you are connected to Nicolani, then you will be a dead man walking... unless SOMEONE gets bribed, handsomely.
Skunk, at the end of each chapter can we also get a bit of a summarization/narration from you about what happend in the chapter? Because following everyones characters separately is becoming a bit confusing to keep up with:? Zombie Apoc has all the characters together, so its much easier to follow then this story line.
And why IS my character always the one in most danger!?!?
EDIT: when can we see the next installment of Zed Apoc?

Well, I've decided to make it as fair as possible, so the next post will be Z-apocalypse, and the post after that will be Family.
Also, the men in the bar were killed.
