A few of my favourites:

(500) Days of Summer
Let The Right One In
The Lord of the Rings
Princess Mononoke
Mysterious Skin
Notting Hill (yeah yeah, shush)
Robin Hood: Men In Tights
If...
Pretty much anything with Leslie Nielson
Pirates of the Caribbean 1
Malena
Perfume: Story of a Murderer
Mr & Mrs Smith

I tend to like a lot of films I see - too many to remember - but these are some that stand out at the moment. :)

Mine would be

Pan's Labyrinth
Jacob's Ladder
Fight Club
Up (Why? It's a great movie!)
Vincent will Meer/Vincent Wants to Sea

I can recommend both the Spanish production Pan's Labyrinth, it's a beautiful, dark fairy tale for adults mixed with WW II era drama, around the Spanish civil war under Franco. Make sure to watch in Spanish with subtitles, they couldn't get the Pan's voice right in any language I watched it in.
Vincent Wants to Sea is a German production. If you can get a hold of it, watch it. It's about a young man with Tourettes who gets put into a halfway house where he meets an anorexic girl and a guy with OCD. He is obviously dissatisfied with the situation at the asylum and desperately wants to see a certain spot at the ocean with which he has a strong association with his mother. The girl and him decide to steal a therapist's car and drag the OCD guy with them, on a car tour straight through from Germany across the alps down to Italy (as far as I remember). All the while they're being chased by his father and said therapist... Amazing landscape shots and quite interesting characters.

I know nothing about it, other than that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the lead. That's really all you need to know. :D

Kat Denning's (sp?) puppet show in the special features is twice as funny as the film itself. :P

Love the Pirates movies. But they aren't really much to talk about casually. Aside from, "oh yeah, that was funny"

Some of my Favorites:
The American
It's a pretty cool movie about an assassin, well, assassinating someone, but i won't say much more, because the movie doesn't have an overtly complex story, but it has some side things to it that give it a great character. Oh, it has George Clooney in it. So if that interests you.
Forrest Gump
Do I really have to explain what that movie is, or why it is good? Prehaps my favorite movie.
Rango
Saw this with a friend. Don't know why, we just did. It was pretty funny, if you are in for a laugh. It takes a few hints from the cartoons that used to poke at the censors, if you know what i am saying? Very surprised it queezed in a PG rating, for a kid-dish movie.

Edit:
Think we can all agree that Watchmen and Kickass were good movies, guys. We really can.
