What video games scared the HECK outta yah ?

Well, while Silent Hill 2 DOES have weapons, you're not exactly an action hero, you're pretty damn weak. If James was on par with Isaac Clarke, the game would be far less frightening in my opinion.


The Penumbra series, which are pretty much the precursors to Amnesia, had weapons, too. I haven't played them myself but from what I hear they're pretty damn scary.

What I missed from Amnesia was however some kind of payoff, I would have loved some kind of payback to the monsters that hunted you. Killing Alexander wasn't enough for me. But oh well, it's still a fantastic game!

Anyone here ever been creeped the hell out of S.T.A.L.K.E.R? Any in the game series, really.

Well, for several years now, I own Project Zero for the PS2, up to this Point I haven't even made it past the first boss, since I'm bad with horror games/horror movies. I do own Penumbra and Amnesia but I haven't played both for said reason.
