Never seen so much fail in a thread before.
Well there's a few exceptions, but the majority? Ugh.

We can decide that if it wins... But it doesn't matter, as I got it wrong, and I'm taking the polls down now...vallorn wrote:which series's of Dr who would it include? the reboots or the old series's?
You now need to choose between Father Ted, Blackadder (Not Season One) and The Walking Dead.

Alright, I suppose it's gonna be Blackadder... Now, I'm gonna need to sort out times, but we'll probably do it next weekend (not this coming one, the one after).

I don't even know what Blackadder and Father are, so I voted Walking Dead.

Re: The [Insert Show Here] Marathon!
I used to watch quite a lot of PBS (it's where I used to get my Dr Who fix), so I know of both Father Ted and Blackadder. I've watched probably a couple dozen Father Ted eps, but have never seen an actual episode of Blackadder. And if you weren't a PBS fan in the 80s and 90s, and don't have the new-fangled BBC America, it's not unlikely at all that you don't know of those two shows - as a U.S. resident.
As for most of the other shows listed (first time I've happened to peruse this thread), it's made of huge amounts of fail - as Sneaky said. And while I'm a fan of True Blood, as a series it's probably too adult for the majority of our community. I could see quite a few parents not being too happy if they decided to walk into their child's room while said tyke was watching that show.
That all being said... The Walking Dead!

Re: The [Insert Show Here] Marathon!
The Walking Dead just started airing on RTE the week before last, so I'm watching it at the moment.
So far so good!

Maybe not, but it's in an entirely different realm of content that may or may not be suitable for younger folk.

Then, if we're going to watch things like that, is it an idea to age gate it? 16+?

What's an age gate? One of those drop-down "select a year" things?
'Cos people never lie in those.

Re: The [Insert Show Here] Marathon!
Right now, we need a source. If someone can find all the episodes of one season of a show on youtube, or some other program that allows us to watch together, please let me know.

I mean we'll go by who we know to be above the minimum age. I said 16, because, at 16, you have access to more legal rights, or, at least, that's how it is in the UK.
Edit: This is only if we watch something like The Walking Dead, or TrueBlood.

Upload them yourself if you've got the files.
Also, I'd like to add that it's good being 18. Just putting it out there.

Dunno if I'd be able to on youtube... Besides, I don't have any of the shows mentioned here... Well, I don't think I do...
