I would name my baby Jerk, so when its friends want to ask it something, they'll say "Hey, Jerk!"

Marc-Olivier Lester. Abbreviated to Mo Lester. A kid in my class came up with it.

"Judas, don't snitch!"
Funniest line we could come up with: "WHOOOOOO DID THIS?! JUUUDAAAAAS!!"
"Wollt ihr 'n Hut? Nur Mut, 'n Hut tut gut!"

Oh, I remembered something else. Since most of you are native English speakers, I propose the ancient German name: Helmut.

Props to this scene from the awesome movie "Night on Earth".
I suggest you watch the whole thing, but skip to 2:58 to see what I mean. NSFW language.

(Prior to this scene, the black guy called a cab, driven by the white German guy. After a disastrous display of lacking driving skills, the black guy urges him to scootch over and let him take the wheel. This is where the scene takes off.)

I watched it in mute just to check my german. I must say, I'm better than I thought I was. I kept up with the conversation quite smoothly.

That's just terrible. If it's about today's moral hypocrisy, the lyrics aren't that bad, but musically, this is a cheap hooker.

If I wanted to ruin the baby's life I'd give it a perfectly ordinary, yet slightly pathetic name, therefore they would not be motivated in that regard to do anything with their life.

So Norman.

Intruiguing, but apparently not that effective.

From wikipedia on the given name Norman:
Norman Barrett (1903–1979), Australian-born British thoracic surgeon
Norman Bates (born 1927), American jazz double-bass player
Norman Bethune (1890–1939), Canadian physician and medical innovator
Norman Borlaug (1914–2009), American agricultural scientist, humanitaran and Nobel Laureate
Norman Davies (born 1939), leading English historian, noted for his publications on the history of Europe, Poland and the United Kingdom
Norman Jewison (born 1926), Canadian filmmaker
Norman Schwarzkopf, Jr. (born 1934), United States Army general, leader of coalition forces in 1991 Gulf War

The Doctor.

Because everyone will compare him to David Tennant wherever he goes.
Thus making him look like a horrible person for even existing, no matter how awesome he is.

So you're saying ignorance immunizes against evidence? ;)

You probably know a few movies by Jewison, such as "Fiddler on the Roof". I know Bates from a music class and I actually have a book including an essay by Davies... huh.

I don't get it. Was he such a bad actor? Wasn't he just one of the doctors? What if he doesn't look like him at all?
While to you it may be a bad name, to those who don't get the reference (such as me) it's pretty badass.

I got suggestions though, apparently real ones.

It's about a 9-year-old girl from New Zealand named "Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii". I'll let that sink in.

Also from the article:
Allowed: Violence; Number 16 Bus Shelter; Midnight Chardonnay; Benson and Hedges (twins)
Blocked: Yeah Detroit; Stallion; Twisty Poi; Keenan Got Lucy; Sex Fruit; Fat Boy; Cinderella Beauty Blossom; Fish and Chips (twins)

I think he meant the opposite - the kid will never live up to Tennant's greatness.
