It's old but gold. If it could help you out we've probably chucked it in here.

Mace v1.5.0 - Random city generator (Single Player)

Found this while surfing around the MineCraft forum.
It has a window that allows you to input some options and then generates a random city in single player.

This is by all account just eye candy of course. The city even on small is large and other then the farms it creates outside of the walls kind of serves no purpose for single player.

I do admit that I would not feel bad for taking a design idea or two from some of the buildings in the created city.
