Oblivion
Re: Oblivion
If Sach is from North America, yeah. Otherwise it's just the game with Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine, and I think a map and strategy guide for Skyrim.

Re: Oblivion
Question. Whats the easiest way for a noobish level 6 guy to obtain glass/daedric armour?
Spoiler! :
Re: Oblivion
Press ~, type "coc testinghall", find the room with armor.
Take the door back to Hawkhaven, fast travel back to wherever you were before.

Well, loot is leveled, most enemies should have glass and daedric armor when you are closer to level 20Wildwill002 wrote:Question. Whats the easiest way for a noobish level 6 guy to obtain glass/daedric armour?
You can come over it at low level, but that is very rare.

And the best way to get glass and/or daedric is to level up until the aforementioned highwaymen start showing up in it. I don't recall coming across any that was just lying around. I was also never able to find a Daedric helmet at all.

Re: Oblivion
Too bad glass armor looks nowhere close as badass as it did in Morrowind. Back then it was dark metal armor with neon green spikes everywhere.

Agreed, it does not look as badass as it did, but it looks kinda good to, glassySti_Jo_Lew wrote:Too bad glass armor looks nowhere close as badass as it did in Morrowind. Back then it was dark metal armor with neon green spikes everywhere.

Not on consoles. And don't troll for not playing on PC. Not everyone has money to spend on upgrades every year.

I'm excited for all the graphical improvements in Skyrim. Granted Oblivion looked good when it came out - it was ahead of its time, I think - but now it's.. eh. So imagine how great Skyrim will look.. and no more terribru faces.

Re: Oblivion
There's a few mods that will freshen up the look of Oblivion.
- Unique Landscapes - Adds more natural diversity to Cyrodiil. The forests become more lush, gorgeous and each region becomes more unique.
- All Natural - Replaces the fake light sources with real ones. So, candles, lanterns etc., give off light, rather than it being emitted from some random corner. Includes a customised weather system, so that each region has its own unique weather. Additionally, if it's there's a thunderstorm outside, you'll still hear it indoors. The lighting from the windows will also match the weather outside.
- Bananasplit's Better Cities Compilation - All of the cities are re-designed, with expansions and/or improvements (yes, that even includes the Imperial City). Eg Bruma has been enhanced with a pond and waterfall, and the poor quarter has been expanded (if I listed every change, this thread would go on forever )
- Natural Environments - Increases the number of weather effects from the default 7 to 44. The sky, moon and satrs textures are replaced with better looking ones, there are new precipitation effects and birds and insects are added.
- Qarl's Texture Pack III - This one will improve most of the textures so that most things will seem much clearer and sharper, essentially making the game feel more recent than it is.

Too bad I have it for PS3. Didn't have a decent computer when it came out.

Just a word or warning though. At the very least, you'll need to know how use the Oblivion Mod Manager and/or Wyre Bash to have them installed, and be familiar with the concept of a load order. If you are not confident using these utilies, don't bother. That said, taking a bit of time to learn about them will enhance your Oblivion experience.

And as Lion said, if you have no idea how to use Oblivion Mod Manager and don't know about load orders, no point trying.
(not hard to learn the basic of load orders and that stuff, so if you don't know anything about it, I will recommend to learn it )

Re: Oblivion
I'll probably end up getting Skyrim for PC eventually, but right now I don't have a good enough graphics card. So I'll get it for PS3 first.

You can find pieces of armour around though. I know there's a Glass helmet on the sea bed North of Anvil which is enchanted with water breathing. At one point I wanted its effects so bad I created an Argonian to safely get it. I realised my derp later...Hytro wrote:Well, loot is leveled, most enemies should have glass and daedric armor when you are closer to level 20Wildwill002 wrote:Question.
