Re: The E-team: The elements of pwnage!

Post by Aenir_bEPU » 14 Aug 2011, 11:06

Couple days ago I had gone to PvP with naught but a diamond shovel to dig some, and Gundog came up and killed me. Since at the time posts in this thread had led me to believe he was on the E-Team, I said something along the lines of "are you not on the e-team?" At which point he said that he didn't know I was on it, apologized, and gave me my stuff back.

I'm against the witch hunt.

Aenir im afraid the fault for your death there is mine alone. i had invited him to our team but had forgotten to mention it to anyone :? and he did not know it was called the Eteam so i can understand the confusion.

if you wish i can provide you with a replacement shovel.

I too dislike Gundog86, and Q4u6. They have a habit of killing people with their backs turned gaining kills through AFK. As a warrior of morals, I disagree with this method.

Windmill, Kill Gundog and i will personally knock you off the team no matter what mike says. i will not allow a witch hunt to occur within this team.

Xdaem.
1 people should not go AFK in PvP and killing people who haven't seen you proves sneaking skills.
2 if your a man of honor as you say you are, you should not endorse a witch hunt on such flimsy evidence

Afly why dont you like Gun? give me a reason at least rather that "I Dont like that guy KILL HIM"

Mike. if you carry on with this course i WILL take over the team. remember i coined the name and brought us together in the first place. you may have appointed yourself "Leader" but I founded us. i even have plans to put food resources from my upcoming Darkhaven into this team for free which is far more than ive seen you doing.

Looks like a bit of mutiny. I wondered when this would come about.
Incidently, it is up to Mike who the Team goes after, regarding your post of his rank.
Vallorn wrote:basicly Mike runs the thread and selects targets
Now then, in regard to your points...
Vallorn wrote:killing people who haven't seen you proves sneaking and skills
While this is true, it bears absolutely no reference to your point or even helps back it up. If one is AFK, an other could run up to one screaming "I am going to kill you" and the one would not notice. Hence, 'Afk'.
And, your second...
Vallorn wrote:you should not endorse a witch hunt on such flimsy evidence
I have a problem with this. I stated nowhere that I supported you or MichaelD20 and merely stated my personal opinion of this fellow. This may or may not be influenced by any events that have taken place. I do not like him due to his attitude to other players, and his attitude in PvP, but these are not the only reasons. I have many that I doubt I should I bring up, as it would not help my case, you should take a page from my book.

Now then, I will await your response, or your apology for these wild accusations of which you have so wistfully thrust upon me.

i still felt it good to apologise for my fault Aenir. its the polite thing to do.

Xdaem i will not apologize for i never accused you of anything. your post seemed to specifically be intended to support this witch hunt and while i do now understand more of why you dont like thier tactics i can assure you that from having conversations with Gun he is a sensible and well meaning individual.

i also made up our jobs from what we had been doing so far (i hope you realize this was out of necessity for some structure). they are in no way concrete and since he knew i was supporting Gundog he should have contacted me as a fellow high ranker before calling the hunt anyway (he did not via PM by the way)

and i see you ignored my note of PEOPLE SHOULD NOT GO AFK IN PvP! its simple to not be. in fact there are multiple options to prevent it:
1 close MC
2 Log Out
3 type /spawn

Ah, thank you for clarifying that the structure and leadership in this group entirely depends on who can appear most charismatic and 'shout the loudest' so to speak.
Now then, I did not miss your point. I do go Afk occasionally as I do have better things to do. I accept this as my folly, hence why I did not call this part of your statement into question; I had no way to argue it.
And finally...
Vallorn wrote:you should not endorse a witch hunt on such flimsy evidence
Accusation. Regardless of what you thought my intentions were, you had no idea, and told me I am wrong in a stance you chose for me. In essence, a wrong accusation.

Xdaem the basic structure and ranks are set (squads and leader ranks and all that) however the leaders rolls fluctuate depending on circumstances. for example i usually dont take part in the fighting unless its absolutely necessary but i DO spread the word about us to new players and keep an eye out for any promising individuals as well as i am storing masses of food with Mikes help for future conflicts and have supplied weapons and armor to my teammates free of charge.

and i now see what you meant by accusation. i apologise if i hurt your feelings but i still find it hard to believe anyone would voluntarily forget to log out in that hellhole.

Ah, my humble apologies. So, if the circumstance calls for it, such as if you don't like a call being made, you can immidiately take control over the whole group and kill other leaders?
And Vallorn, my friend, do not worry about my feelings. I'm not even sure if they are still there under the layers of cynicism and disdain built up over the years, but thank you nontheless.

I feel we are going round in circles here.

im not taking over the group or killing my fellow leaders. merely stating my heavy displeasure at Mike and discouraging others from striking a man who has not been proved guilty. ;)

our rolls fluctuate but we were all friends before this group (or at least on happy terms) and we wouldnt go behind each others backs or so i thought before Mike did this. :x

Throw it aside now! Gundog is safe for now. Q4 On the other hand... he is who we are after.
Also, We need to find the man who terrorized our base.
