Re: Z-Apocalypse - M for Coarse Language - More Members Want
Adder stood strong, waiting for the bite. Waiting for the fateful piercing of his skin that would change him forever.
But it didn't go as he expected.
Most zombies would leap onto their victims and take a bite, before rushing off, but Chef was different. He was heavier, and more importantly, stronger. He wanted more than a bite.
He tackled Adder to the floor, smacking his head back and forth on the ground (-10HP) before Adder was able to grab a knife and force it into the creature's skin.
Chef cried out in pain and lifted Adder up, throwing him against the nearest wall (-25HP), before Sarge ran at the monster.
He called for the others to grab Adder and escape, and they quickly did as told, knowing there was nothing they could do to help. Chef would easily overpower all of them.
Vallorn grabbed Adder, helping him up. The man was losing consciousness and barely knew what was going on, but still tried to go back for Sarge.
"No, Sarge's back there!"
"Sarge will be fine! He's gonna distract Chef while we get the car started," David assured Adder. The group pulled Adder out of the building, but he fought back, pushing his way through. He kicked the door back open just in time to see Sarge fly against a wall, his face becoming a ball of mush.
"Sarge!"
Adder leaped forward to help the veteran, but found it was too late. The man had finally died. He'd cheated death for long enough.
"Adder, get out of there!"
Adder turned to see David at the doorway, having chased after him. "David, he killed Sarge!"
"Adder!" David cried, leaping forward, tackling Adder through a weak spot in the wall of the shack.
He looked back and found David has just thrown him out of the way of Chef who had pounded the ground he previously stood on. He would be nothing but dust, had David not leaped forward.
"David... you saved my life. Thank you..." he softly whispered. "David?"
Adder turned in horror to see David, lying still, a small pile of bricks and wood lying on his face, blood trickling slowly from his nose.
"David!"
Adder rushed forward to pull his friend from the rubble, but Chef quickly stopped him, leaping forward. Adder stumbled back, knowing it was too late. He screamed for the first time since the infection began, the first time since he was a child. And sunk to his knees.
As things suddenly went slow and silent, the car pulled up, and Luke pulled him in, before driving off.
End of Chapter
All
a) Go back for Eli before you escape
b) Escape. Go to a country that might be free of the infection.

(bonus points for naming the song (lyrics in bald i changed))
Has he lost his mind?
Can he see or is he blind?
Can he walk at all?
Or if he moves will he fall?
Is he live or dead?
Has he thoughts within his head?
You wont just pass me there.
Im going to make you care!

That's Iron Man, by Black Sabbath. It was on Paranoid, We Sold Our Souls to Rock and Roll, and I believe all their greatest hits albums.random980 wrote:(bonus points for naming the song (lyrics in bald i changed))

So Chef's a singer now?

Re: Z-Apocalypse - M for Coarse Language - More Members Want
err no, not really. I was listening to the song and the lyrics just seemed to really relate to Chefs situation.Skunk_Giant wrote:So Chef's a singer now?
Afly you not only get a biscuit but a taco for also giving unnecessary info on the song. The Iron Man tune was also played during the credits in the recant Iron Man movies.

I derped. Instead of posting the report, I accidentally edited the last one.
Anyway, here it is -
Dr David's Report
The Grim Reaper's Report
Adder - Adder was dangerously close to death during the mess with Chef. I can only hope for better luck next time.

David - This man was especially nice to reap. Although, I still wish I'd gotten the rest of them.
Vallorn - Vallorn is going well, no signs of death. A shame.

Chef - Damn Chef. I was hoping he'd turn out to be dead. But, I guess he survived, even if he's in some strange form.
Sarge - Now this veteran, he was rewarding to reap. After years, I finally got him. He escaped my clutches twice in the war, and even survived the zombie horde after he 'sacrificed' himself for Eli. I'm just glad that I finally have him.
Luke - Luke, unfortunately, is quite healthy, mentally and physically.

Re: Z-Apocalypse - M for Coarse Language - More Members Want
Last Time...
After being falsely branded as Chef's murderers, our heroes were to be transported out of their new home, back to the old complex.
Before meeting up with the main convoy, however, they attacked their captors, causing the car to crash, and Dennis to flee.
Eli Harrow, now a lieutenant in the new army, was called to the scene with his men. Expecting a fight, he had his men armed, and at the sight of the weapons, half of the group escaped.
Surely, had it not been for Adder, David and Sarge waiting, the entire group may have been shot dead.
Sarge, however, was able to get a favor from his old friend, who promised to be in contact later.
In a rush to save their friends from the zombie infected wilderness they had fled into, David, Adder and Sarge drove through danger until they found a lit up shack which appeared to have movement inside.
After finding Dennis, there was a brief standoff, which resulted with Dennis fleeing out of the shack and being smacked by a familiar frying pan.
Chef, who was taking on a new mind, in which everyone was an enemy, killed Dennis brutally and broke into the shack, focusing on Adder, who he remembered as his 'killer'.
Rather than a quick bite, Chef tackled his victim to the floor, before Adder shoved a knife into the zombie-experiment and was thrown against a wall in response.
Before he could deliver the finishing blow, Chef was attacked by Sarge, who ordered for the group to run. Before he was piled into the car, Adder broke free of his friends' clutches and made his way back to the shack, where he found Sarge, now unrecognizable.
Sarge, had finally died.
But more was to come. Chef had no turned his attention back to Adder, and Adder had turned his attention to David, who had just appeared at the door.
David tackled Adder out of Chef's way, crashing through the shack wall. he saved Adder's life, but Adder soon found that David had given his own.
Before he could recover the body, Chef leaped forward, and Adder had no choice but to get into the car, and mourn the two losses.
Now, the group had no other choice than to get Eli and escape the country.
Maybe, just maybe, they could find happiness.

Re: Z-Apocalypse - M for Coarse Language - More Members Want
It's that time of the game again...
We're nearing the last, or second last chapter. I know I haven't been too good with this, and I know I favored The Family quite a bit, so I'm sorry for that.
It's up to you guys if you want to continue on. The story can end here, or we can go for a sequel. I've noticed that interest has dropped a bit, but that's my fault.
If you want to try something different, I've had another idea in my head for a bit, but it's likely going to be only four main characters (maybe some more if required), and therefore may not work for everyone.

Re: Z-Apocalypse - M for Coarse Language - More Members Want
I have noticed interest in this has gone down a bit. Dont get me wrong this has been great, but The Family has a much more flexible story-line and can handle more characters, giving it more attention was necessary. Also The Family (in my opinion) has turned out better. I dont mind if we finish Zombie Apoc and focus on Prophecy and The Family (and even Wicked West). Zombie Apoc has been fun and its coming to a point where it cant really continue.
Give us an amazing ending and make us proud Skunk!
(Highly suggest Chef gets to gore everyone to pieces!

As do I...
I mean, I wanna continue this, but at the same time, I wanna try my new idea...
I could do both, but that'd just make updates even more rare...

Re: Z-Apocalypse - M for Coarse Language - More Members Want
i say end this, what can we possibly add that wont end up being a filler/sub plot AND wont ruin the story.
Let chefs rampaging be the end and make it good
Then do your new idea, none of us want even MORE scarce updates >_<

Who says Chef gets to go on a rampage? Maybe he gets killed... D:
Re: Z-Apocalypse - M for Coarse Language - More Members Want
Or maybe he goes on a rampage then gets killed?
Maybe EVERYONE dies?
Maybe a cure is found and i get turned back to normal along with the zombies.
Maybe North Korea decides to 'help' and nukes America killing all the zombies (and everyone else)
Who knows how this will end. But i do suggest Chef gets to go an a rampage
