Gcse Results day :)
Omg im really scared as to what my gcse's end up to be when i find out today. I have only done a few of them like 1/4 of all of them but they still count towards my grades and i am absolutely bricking it :'( for those who dont knoe what a gcse is: they are the grades you get at the end of high school determing if you will or wont do further education. to be honest if you havent caught on yet im really scared

Sounds very similiar to the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE). Although, your test is probably harder.
I'm not really good for relating to this stress. I'm one of those freaks that can go into a test without ever studying and get an A. Too bad I'm lazy and forgetful, so I never turn in homework.

I like how a thread about Eric's concerns about test grades is now just questions on what the specific testing areas are.

Okay, that makes sense. But why are they both A? Shouldn't it be geography A & geography B?

Yeah, this is MUCH more complex than the CAHSEE. Also, it seems like the classes across the pond have much more specific topics than the ones here in California.

Huh, are you all in public education?
I'm kind of surprised they teach that. Here in the US you'll typically only find religious classes in privately operated schools.

Yeah, public schools :L
I guess they do it to increase religous awareness and try and reduce racism, i dont think it works :L:L
Edit, you basically jsut find out the key concept of religions, you also learn about 3rd world countries and whats affecting them etc.
Its jsut all the random crap. :L

I kind of wish they did the same thing here in the States. Most hate at religion is a result of ignorance.

R.E. is the most mindnumbingly boring and pointless subject known to man, and I hate the fact that it is mandatory at G.C.S.E.
Also, you only focus on one religion. It's just pointless...
