For your self amusement, I present to you 100 ways to get spanked in our server. It's an unofficial list based on experiences as a player and a mod. Doing these things will definitely put you in someones shilist. ( which you don't want to be in ) and possibly suspended and/or banned depending on the severity.

Nobody knows how to play in the beginning, and not everyone exhausts a singleplayer world before hopping online. Anyone who claims they learnt all the crafting recipes without checking the wiki is a big fat liar. Forgetting a few of the more obscure ones is easy enough, and does it really make sense to go searching online for the answer when you're surrounded by a server full of experienced players?

I think everyone's tried this at least once. Wokka even based a contest on it during the birthday celebrations. As long as it's not being used to break into other people's property I don't see the harm.

I expect most skins used on the server are freely available online. I'd be surprised if more than a handful of people made their own from scratch. Using the same skin as a staff member, and actually impersonating said staff member are two very different things.

I guess i am curious about digging to bedrock. Do you mean strip mining then leaving the hole, what if you intend to build on the site. I ask because i currently have a massive hole on my land claim that is going to become something.

I believe it means holes in the middle of nowhere like roads that go to bedrock, particularly 1x1.

during the week i spent renovating the land that is now Darkhaven i came across 18 separate 1*1 holes to bedrock...
i didn't fall down them but it was really annoying to have to fill em up...
