Let's play Money Making Game! (Taken and slightly changed from its kol origin)

Money Making Game is simple -- you put up a bet for an amount of items, and then someone else pays the same amount that you put up to take the bet. Then, I decide which one of you gets all of the items using a random number generator.

You must bet at least a stack unless your betting diamonds in which case its at least 5 or tools where just one will suffice

Some small item restrictions so people dont bet worthless stuff
Non-betting items

  Feathers

All other items and blocks are fine

You can have a max of 5 bets at a time

In order to take a bet you must contact me with which number bet you've chosen.

Before playing you must have all items already. I.E. You cant bet 20 diamonds without already having 20 diamonds.

When someone has taken your bet I will message both you and the other player the details on the bet and who has won.

Seems too complicated for me. I bet a stack of Nether Bricks if someone can explain it better.

Now that you've bet 1 stack someone will hopefully pm me taking up that bet and I will use a RNG to pick a winner. The winner then gets all of the items so in this case the winner would get 2 nether brick stacks. That a better explanation? :3

What happens if there's a massive difference in values? You've already eliminated the least valuable items, but it's still possible for there to be a major discrepancy. What's to stop someone from betting stack after stack of say redstone in the hope that someone else bets diamonds?

You said there's a minimum bet (1 stack for most items, 5 singles for diamond) but is there any incentive to bet higher? Larger bets carry greater risk but don't seem to offer any reward.

How are items delivered? Are players expected to handle that? What if someone refuses after they've lost?

It's a tiny bit hard to explain. Basically, taking furds bet as example, you would have to match that bet so it would be 64 nether bricks. The aim of the game is to double what you've got already so the higher bets have greater risk for greater reward.

Also I might have forgotten to say that you can have a max of 5 bets at a time :3

So bets must be of equal value? So what happens if I bet 1000 diamonds and nobody can afford to match me? Does my bet become invalid?

It stays for 2 weeks before being taken down. Although if you've got 1000 diamonds you probably dont need this XD
