New creative is open

It's old but gold. If it could help you out we've probably chucked it in here.

New creative is open

Post by wokka1 » 04 Jul 2011, 19:42

The new creative is open. since we had so many people helping with this, some cuboids may not be setup right for things that got moved, just grab a mod if you need help getting into your stuff.

Landclaims will be enforced, so put walls up around your things, or at least a marker in at grass level.

there is approximately 2400x2400 that is flat, at level 2, the 300 blocks around that (1500 radius) is natural cliffs for people who want to build on terrain, or don't want to build art, but want to test things, its up to you where you go.

There are 2 portals setup at spawn to help you get to the cliffs. There are also rails setup similar to fyra.

We will offer free cuboids on creative, so contact a mod to have your creation protected. It's up to the mod's descretion if your structure is worth cuboiding, they likely won't do dirt houses. They also will not do really large plots.

Also, if you die when you first join, thats because of the map change, we apologize, just /i to give yourself your items back.
Creative will stay veteran only, due to the amount of spam and griefing.

If you build on someone elses marked landclaim, it will be removed. If you want to do something like a long railway, you are free to, however, you must ask permission to go onto someone else's landclaim.

Thank you so much for moving my lab and the mountain it was built on!
I was lucky enough to find it on my first try, and for whoever made the structure out of Ice it is very near my lab, which would be north on the rainbow rails.

once more, thank you :D

Awesome! I can't wait until I make Vet. Your minds will all be blown at just how awful my building shenanigans are. =D

Any chance TNT might be re-enabled in Creative?
The super pick is good for land clearing, but if one were to clear something underground there's nothing like TNT. :P

Woot! The location of my Menger Sponge is great, and I'm glad it's now low, giving me room above. Question is, *should* I expand it to 81x81x81 (4 iterations), or just leave it at 27x27x27 (3 iterations)? Is it better to have a small footprint and modest size, or should I go for as gigantic as possible? Would an 83x83 footprint be too big to cuboid?

I moved it, so I got a pretty good look at it... I think if it's made bigger it's just going to make it harder to take it all in.

Fair enough. I'll leave it as is, and remove the expansion claim.
