Mass effect 3 is coming out at some point so we may aswell start a thread. All i know is that its gonna have multiplayer

I played a good chunk of Mass Effect 1, lost interest and stopped playing. Never tried ME2, so... No ME3 for me.

Me2 is a bit more streamlined than me1. much clearer item descriptions and better storyline

It had good writing & fun characters, but the actual storyline was awful. It goes from one plot inconsistancy to the next, and winds up exactly where we started with no real progression in the wider story.

(I also really hated the whole "fight for the lost" ad campaign. Why does everything need a freaking catchphrase?)

That said I enjoyed both Mass Effects immensely.
The staff here are all trolls
