The new world

I was wondering if I could see a map of the new 1.9 world or see it in game because I wanted to make a city or town in the new world

The 1.8* world is temporary and will be removed when the full Minecraft version is released. It's not recommended to build anything of value there. Just mine it for resources and store those on another world for the permanent 1.9/full version map.

So, there's no map and no reason to make one. Maybe before it gets removed, wokka might run a manual one like he did with the 1.4 test map ages ago, but no promises.
